History: The engine of choice for Frances Chichester for Gypsy Moth IV. (It took him around the world in 1967.)

The engine was fully reconditioned and rebuilt in 2018.

Cruising Speed: Approximately 5 knots at 1,800 rpm.

Fuel Use: Less than 2 litres per hour.

Fuel Capacity: 170 litres.
The image shows Fotheri, our hardworking engineer. He's part of an excellent double act with his father. They were recruited by VYC to carry out our major engine rebuild in 2018 and have undertaken any main service work for us since then.
