Approximately 2½ miles from Vliho. There’s a regular bus service, although it’s also a pleasant (flat) walk for a reasonably fit person.

Nidri is a thriving holiday town with:

  • Many shops, bars and restaurants

 

  • Larger supermarkets - some offering free transport back to the boat with your shopping.

​

  • Two chandlers

​

  • Several beaches

​

  • Hotels, several with pools

​

  • Trip boats and ferries

​

  • Banks and a post office

​

  • Car / scooter hire and taxis

​

  • Medical centre

​

  • There is a bus service to the island capital, Lefkas (approx 45 mins from Vliho) with links to the mainland, including Igounamitza and Athens.

​

  • Some mooring options, with electricity and water, available on the quay.
